And then what? Campervan hire in Wollongong
For travellers returning from Kiama after picking up their campervans – or those headed south along the Grand Pacific Drive – the Shellharbour Beachside Tourist Park is ideally located near Shell Cove just twenty minutes south of central Wollongong and promises a quiet evening near pristine beaches. Travellers headed north to the Sea Cliff Bridge will be interested in the Corrimal Beach Tourist Park for a comfortable night’s stay before embarking on their explorations. As most tourist parks are located at least 4 km from downtown Wollongong and its popular Blue Mile, note that there are numerous free short-term parking options downtown, particularly the Commuter Car Park on Gladstone Avenue and other Council parking lots scattered throughout the city. Double-check time limits before you leave your car for an extended period, however. Street parking is also free and unrestricted evenings, Saturday afternoons, and all day on Sundays and holidays. The M1 or Princes Motorway is the major highway linking Wollongong to Sydney, but travellers who are northward-bound without time constraints will want to check out the spectacular views of the Lawrence Hargrave Drive – a part of the Grand Pacific Drive. Follow Memorial Drive (the B65) northward through Bulli, then keep right to exit onto Lawrence Hargrave Drive instead of continuing onto the junction with the Princes Motorway. Travellers headed inland will likely become well acquainted with the Illawarra Highway (A48). Locals and tourists alike head to Leisure Coast Fruit Market for a great selection of inexpensive fresh produce and other grocery needs. Just north of central Wollongong, stop at the corner Princes Highway and Cabbage Tree Lane to fill your mobile refrigerator before embarking northward along Memorial Drive. For travellers headed out of Wollongong, a number of Coles Supermarkets are to be found between the Princes Highway on the east and Princes Motorway on the west.

"Since we are very busy in our jobs, the camper used to sit in our driveway for long period of time and noone used it. So we had the idea to give other camping lovers the option to try and go away for a trip with a motorhome for an affordable price. We are happy with the platform, we feel supported well and our concerns are taken seriously."
"I rent out my motorhome because I don't want to have it sit in my driveway without being driven. Being in touch with the travellers is a great experience that I enjoy a lot."
"Thank you for inviting us to join SHAREaCAMPER NZ. "Without SHAREaCAMPER we wouldn't have bought our camper! The customer support is professional and we have met many nice people, some of which even came back to hire our Dreamer a second time."
