The Main Beach Tourist Park is located just across the road from Gold Coast’s renowned surfing coastline and is the closest of Gold Coast’s holiday parks to Surfers Paradise. Street parking in Surfers Paradise costs $3.30 an hour from 9 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday and to 5 pm on Sunday, but there are also a number of carparks available with fewer to no fees. Long-term parking for travellers who need to park their car while exploring via campervan is available for between $12 and $35 per day at the Gold Coast Airport’s long-term parking lots and just eight minutes from the Gold Coast Airport at Aussie Parking for as low as $55 a week. Surfers Paradise is accessible via State Routes 2, 3 and 24. To follow the coastline south out of Surfers Paradise, follow State Route 2. Each of these routes eventually intersects with the M1 or Pacific Motorway, your fast track to Brisbane. To fill your chilly box or refrigerator, check out the Coles or Woolworths along the north-southbound Gold Coast Highway (State Route 2). If you’re in the area on a Sunday, however, get your vegies at the Bundall Farmers’ Market on Bundall Road between 6 and 11:30 am.
