Mandurah is connected to Perth by the north-south Kwinana Freeway (State Route 2), which circumnavigates the city. Mandjoogoordap Drive (State Route 19) intersects with the Freeway and leads almost directly to downtown Mandurah. East-west travel into Western Australia’s state forests is primarily via regional roads. To follow the coastline, follow State Route 1, which becomes Cobblers Road on the peninsula. There are plentiful grocery options in Mandurah, with shopping centres including IGAs, Woolworths, or Coles appearing at major intersections throughout the entire area. A favourite local option for fresh fruits and vegetables is Greenfields Fruit and Veggies on Murdoch Drive. The Spud Shed on Pinjarra Road, which intersects with the Kwinana Freeway southwest of Mandurah is another favourite and a convenient stop on your way out of the city.

For those flocking to Mandurah for its incredible water options, the Estuary Hideaway Holiday Park is an excellent independently owned park, located 25 km south of Mandurah on Collins Pool. Find a restful corner here to recuperate, or head just 15 km northward to the surfing destinations along Falcons Bay. The Belvedere Caravan Camp is an older camp located quite centrally – downtown Mandurah with its numerous inlets is less than 2 km away and the beach less than a kilometre!
